I love Tokacchi's characterization here; his curiosities and interest in all the little details, and his awkward vocal flailing upon being teased. I can entirely see Kagura being the one to need a break like this; fighting is going to be hard, after all, and can see her talking herself back into it with a little help and presence from her friends, just like this.
This was a wonderful read, and I'm really glad it exists and that you wrote it, even if the situation of its birth isn't the best. Thank you so much for writing this for me and for sharing it.
