I really loved writing this. I had never really considered Ryuuji/Jin as a pairing before, but they work remarkably well together. I am really sorry about the character death thing--I somehow managed to completely miss it when writing the story. It just seemed to fit more with the end-of-series tone for Go-Busters, which I absolutely loved--that sense of loss and cost but it still being a victory. It's the type of ambiance that I really like in my work--hopeful but still being honest about the world.

Anyway, I'm really really glad that you enjoyed it and that it still fit most of what you were looking for. :-)
