Awwww this was super sweet! Love your writing style and the use of Souji's point of view. I think we've all been there, trying desperately to find the perfect gift for that very special person. I love the gift that you have him find--and the hint that maybe, possibly, there is something magical about the shop he gets it from? Everyone needs a bit of Christmas magic. (Also love the line about Ian being a friend, a coworker and a lover all in one.)
